Privacy Policy - SmartBlock

1. What stays on your phone

Your list of blocked apps, your usage limits, your schedules, your puzzle settings and your usage statistics are stored only on your device. There is no SmartBlock account and nothing is synced to a server. If you delete the app, that data goes with it.

2. Analytics

SmartBlock sends anonymous usage analytics to PostHog, an analytics service, so we can see which features are used and fix bugs. This includes events such as:

• Which puzzles are completed
• When app monitoring starts
• When an error occurs

These events are not linked to your name, email address or any other identifier that could be used to recognise you. This is why the App Store listing shows a data-collection label. We do not use advertising networks or SDKs that build a profile of you.

3. Your email address

SmartBlock only collects your email address if you choose to give it, when the app asks whether we may contact you for feedback. We use it for that purpose only: to ask what is working and what is not. We do not use it for marketing and we do not share it. You can withdraw permission or ask us to delete your email address at any time by writing to info@smartblockapp.co.

4. Children's Privacy

SmartBlock does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only personal data the app can hold is an email address given with permission, as described above. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.

5. App Store Compliance

SmartBlock is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store and complies with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, including those related to user privacy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our website, if applicable.
